DESCRIPTION

Adapts your existing M5, M10, M15, or MōVI Pro Adjustable Camera Plates to any tripod. It’s perfect for building your camera or picking off tripod shots in between MōVI shots with zero downtime.

The bottom of the Adapter has common 3/8 and 1/4-20 threads for mounting to your platform or tripod of choice. Your MōVI Adjustable Camera Plate easily slides into place on the top of the adapter. 

The adapter height provides ample clearance for motors mounted onto the MōVI Rod Mount Adapter.

A large, star knob in the middle allows you to securely lock the MōVI Adjustable Camera Plate in place, with no tools. 

Note: If you are one of the very early adopters of the M10 or M15, there is a slight discrepancy with the thickness of your camera plate that causes an issue with our adapter. We can easily fix this, but please let us know before your purchase that you have an early model.

FAQ

Q: Which models of MōVI does this fit?
A: Whichever model you select when you add to cart. 

Q: What tools are required for setup?
A: No tools are required to attach a MōVI Adjustable Camera Plate to the top of the adapter. 

Q: How much weight can the adapter hold?
A: We have designed our adapters to last a lifetime and withstand the abuse and rigors of set life. However, the original Freefly Camera Plates were only engineered for the limits of the MōVI's motors, as such, we do not recommend using more than Freefly's specified weight limit of your MōVI. 

Q: Does it have a safety pin?
A: No. Freefly has not designed a place for a safety pin in their camera plates. As a user, you must be careful to make sure you securely lock down on your camera plate before tilting the adapter. We do not recommend tilting past 45° on your adapter.

Q: The MōVI Pro and M5 top plates look similar, are they interchangeable?
A: No. The MōVI Pro and MōVI M5 have subtle but critically important variations in the design. Do NOT use them interchangeably.
